Wang GO et al. - The results showed p63-positive keratinocyte stem cells throughout the epidermis of scar tissue. However, if co-transplanted on acellular dermal matrix, this effectively inhibited scar formation and pruritus, providing an alternative method to treat hypertrophic scarring.
