Effect of cat and daycare exposures on the risk of asthma in children with atopic dermatitis

Gaffin JM et al. – Maternal asthma, baseline body mass index, and specific immunoglobulin E to house–dust mix at 3years were each independent risk factors for the development of asthma. In children with atopic dermatitis (AD), cat and daycare exposure may reduce the risk of developing early childhood asthma.
