In vitro ultraviolet A irradiation decreases both release ability and gene-expression of vascular endothelial growth factor-A from mast cells
Photodermatology, Photoimmunology and Photomedicine, 05/17/2012
Delfino G et al. – The vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)–A RNA expression was reduced after Ultraviolet A (UVA) irradiation with 5J/cm2. The authors speculated that, at least in vitro and at the experimental conditions, UVA irradiation decreases mast cells–VEGF release and gene–expression.
