Doshi J et al. – Impaction of permanent teeth is a common clinical occurrence that may involve any tooth in the dental arch. The teeth most often impacted, in order of frequency, are the maxillary and mandibular third molars, the maxillary canines and the mandibular second molars. A typical case of bilateral partially impacted mandibular molars is illustrated, with uprighting spring as a treatment option and different treatment modalities for impacted molars are discussed.
