Jeon JG et al. – The data show that the combination of naturally–occurring agents with fluoride effectively disrupted the expression of specific virulence genes, structural organization and accumulation of S. mutans biofilms, which may explain the enhanced cariostatic effect of the chemotherapeutic approach.
