| oral squmous cell carcinoma is one of the most common malignancies in south-east Asia with very few patients getting the early diagnosis and treatment. Most of the patients have poor prognosis due to development of cancer cachexia. Estimation of serum leptin can be a usful marker in determining the status of cahexia in cancer patients pre- and post operatively. thus, during post-operative care of the patient, nutritional aspect of can be weighed. |
