Triage screening for osteoporosis in dental clinics using panoramic radiographs

Up to now, there is no prospective cohort study as to whether patients with positive panpramic radiography findings have higher risk of having low skeletal BMD and subsequent osteoporotic fractures than patients with negative panoramic radiography findings. To clarify these, dentists should collaborate with medical professionals.
