Kato K et al. – Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis (CSS) is a totally inflammatory lesion. In a 60–year–old male with CSS, serum immunoglobulin G (IgG) concentration was markedly increased and abundant infiltration of IgG4–positive plasma cells was observed in the salivary glands.
