Larkin HD - The state’s health reform plan sharply cut the number of uninsured residents. It also raised costs, threatened safety-net providers and brought other unintended consequences. With the U.S. economy facing even greater financial pressure, these issues have the potential to derail national reform. They will need to be addressed to create not just financial sustainability, but also to ensure continuing access to quality health care services.
