Sato A et al. - Twenty-nine cases including 13 males and 16 females, aged 24 to 71 years, whose dental implants were removed. These implants included 14 blade, 6 endosseous, 14 subperiosteal, 3 endodontic, and 2 home-made implants. Causes of removal were 12 local infections, 4 maxillary sinusitis, 2 nerve disturbances and 1 psycologic problem.
