Surgical treatment of mandibular condylar fracture by direct approach to reach the facial nerve

Ishihara O et al. - Surgical treatment of 10 condyles of 8 patients with mandibular condylar fracture by direct approach to reach the facial nerve was retrospectively discussed. The authors recognized that this approach, which can make a broad exposure and a wide operative fieled, is very suitable for lower and upper condylar fracture.
