Supracrestal gingival tissue: assessing relation with periodontal biotypes in a healthy periodontium
The International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry, 10/24/2013Arora R, et al.
This cross–sectional study assessed the variability in supracrestal gingival tissue (SGT) dimensions in a healthy periodontium. SGT dimensions were evaluated for differences across various locations, tooth types, and periodontal biotypes. When planning crown lengthening surgery, periodontal biotype may have a significant role in determining SGT dimensions.
