Dranishnikov N et al. – In stable patients, simultaneous aortic valve replacement and left ventricular assist devices implantation are not associated with an impaired outcome. In patients with cardiogenic shock an additional aortic valve replacement may impair outcome; therefore alternative techniques should be considered.
