Paranskaya L et al. – Although the hemodynamic and anatomical basis of mitral regurgitation (MR) may differ, every procedure should aim at eliminating MR. In some patients this goal can be achieved using multiple clipping (MC) with minimized risk of mitral valve (MV) stenosis if preoperative anatomy/mechanism of MV regurgitation are adequately assessed.
