Huang X et al. – The proportion of plasma phospholipid Linoleic acid (LA) is inversely associated with interleukin–6 and all–cause mortality in Swedish dialysis patients. The authors raise the hypothesis that dialysis patients could benefit from increased intake of vegetable oils, the primary source of LA in the Western–type diet.
