Serum total bilirubin is inversely associated with brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity in men with hypertension
Heart and Vessels, 06/04/2012Zhang ZY et al.
This study demonstrates an independent inverse association between bilirubin and brachial–ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) in hypertensive men. Additionally, reduced C–reactive protein (CRP) may be one of mediators on the mechanisms how bilirubin reduces baPWV.
