- Aki is the Chief Operating Officer of So-net M3 USA Corporation. So-net M3 USA is a subsidiary of So-net M3, Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 2413), the leading pharmaceutical eMarketing company in Japan. Prior to So-net M3, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company with focuses on high tech and pharmaceutical marketing issues.
He received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

- Stephen Smith is a pioneer of online medical communications and education. He has pursued a vision of improving medical practice and patient outcomes by applying technology to the information needs of physicians in novel and effective ways. To this vision he brings 20 years of innovation experience in medicine, medical publishing and online medical communications and marketing. Steve was managing editor of top-read publications in infectious diseases and AIDS care. Moving online he co-founded and created Medscape, one of the world’s most-accessed professional medical information portal (now the professional side of WebMD). Steve was SVP of Products and Marketing at Medsite, where he developed market-leading approaches to online medical education (CME) and commercial communication (eDetailing). He is currently Chief Strategist for So-net M3 where he is helping shape new solutions to the challenge of keeping physicians current on emerging medical information.
Steve trained as a physician assistant and has 10 years of clinical experience in general medicine, emergency medicine, and vascular surgery. He has a BS in medicine from the University of Oklahoma and is pursuing a master’s in distance education with the University of Maryland.
