Mattila K et al. – Dexamethasone may improve multimodal pain management following painful orthopedic day surgery procedures, and decrease the need for post–operative opioids. Oral dexamethasone combined with paracetamol significantly reduced total oxycodone consumption following surgical correction of hallux valgus.
