Murthy TVSP – Although ethanol embolization offers a minimally invasive treatment for arteriovenous malformations, however it is associated with potential fatal complications. Radiologists and anaesthesiologists need to work closely together to optimally treat these patients, and ensure a high quality dedicated anaesthesia neurointervention service to promote continuity of care.
