Goel N et al. – Patients with Takayasu’s arteritis should be given general combined with epidural anaesthesia or epidural anaesthesia alone. Central nervous system and cardiovascular system should be intensively monitored and avoid use of drugs that cause sudden fall in systemic vascular resistance.
