Vydyanathan A et al. – Caudal epidural steroid injection and sacroiliac joint injection are two very commonly employed interventions at any pain clinic. These injections are traditionally performed under fluoroscopic guidance, but recently the use of ultrasound (US) guidance has been reported. The authors will review the relevant anatomy, sonoanatomy, and the US–guided technique.
