Ansermino JM et al. - Maintaining spontaneous respiration during intravenous anesthesia for investigative and surgical procedures may avoid the need for airway instrumentation and reduce the risk of desaturation. Spontaneous respiration can be maintained when anesthetizing children using intravenous anesthesia.
