Pugliese F et al. - The aim of this study was to compare a cerebral oximeter with transcranial Doppler (TCD) as a neurological monitor in patients undergoing carotid endarterectomy under regional anaesthesia. A greater reliability with the cerebral oximeter than with TCD was observed.
