Russell FA et al. - The results identify a series of peripheral events through which TNFalpha triggers and maintains bilateral inflammatory pain. This potentially allows a better understanding of mechanisms involved in TNFalpha-dependent pain pathways in symmetrical diseases such as arthritis.
