Sowa Y et al. - A 19-year-old woman presented with a tumor in the lower abdominal wall at the site of the scar that formed after appendectomy at age 7. The tumor mass was surgically removed, and the resulting full-thickness defect of the abdominal wall was reconstructed with autogenous tensor fascia lata muscle flap. Within 10 weeks of the reconstruction, she conceived and proceeded with an uneventful pregnancy and transvaginal delivery.
