Tse K-Y et al. - A discrepancy between nurses' perceptions and practice in relation to the provision of preoperative information was found. The results highlight the importance of reviewing current preoperative teaching methods and improving the effectiveness of such teaching to enhance the quality of care for ambulatory surgical patients.
