Zhou Y et al. – Researchers have recently explored the mechanisms by which DC function is regulated during Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, leading to impaired antiviral T–cell responses and thus persistent viral infection. Recently, Dendritic cells (DC)–based vaccines against HCV have been developed.
