Effect of Antibodies on Endothelium
American Journal of Transplantation, 09/25/09
Zhang X et al. – The signaling events regulating accommodation vs. rejection appear to be influenced by the specificity and concentration of the anti–HLA antibody and the degree of molecular aggregation. Knowledge of the HLA and non–HLA antibody–mediated signaling pathways has the potential to identify new therapeutic targets to promote accommodation and prevent acute and chronic antibody–mediated rejection.
