Lymphomatoid granulomatosis (LYG) is a rare lymphoproliferative disease, considered as non-Hodgkin’s B cell neoplasm. Standard treatment is not yet established and rituximab has been recently reported with variable responses. The authors emphasized the effect of rituximab with combination chemotherapy in a 70-year-old male patient with pulmonary LYG, and suggested the potential role of FDG-PET in the diagnosis and evaluation of treatment response in the patient with LYG.
