Suman P et al. – Silencing the expression of gp130 but not of IL–6R abrogated the increase in invasiveness of JEG–3 cells following IL–11 treatment. Activation and upregulation of STAT3 appears to be critical for the IL–11–mediated increase in invasiveness of JEG–3 cells.
