Rigourd V et al. - The current literature is analyzed to evaluate the possible involvement of STOX1 in the pathogenesis of this disease. While preeclampsia obviously cannot be considered as a disease caused by mutation in a single gene, authors argue that STOX1 may be at the center of common pathways leading to preeclampsia.
