Okumura A et al. - A 58-year-old-man underwent transurethral resection (TUR) for superficial bladder carcinoma followed by instillations of intravesical chemotherapy. Immediately after TUR, the first instillation of epirubicin was performed. Two days after the first instillation, the patient developed generalized erythema of the face, trunk, upper and lower limbs. Two days after the second instillation, the patient developed severe generalized erythema and was diagnosed as having drug eruption due to intravesical instillations of epirubicin by the dermatologist.
