Kuznar W – The temperature spread of blood vessel–sealing devices is limited during radical prostatectomy, meaning that these devices can be used safely for nerve–sparing procedures, provided that the right precautions are taken. Blood vessel sealing is achieved through application of bipolar high frequency current and simultaneous tissue compression.
