Kroeze SGC et al. – This study has demonstrated a discernable relationship between a laparoscopic suturing skill and year of resident training using a bench–top laparoscopic training simulator. The cohort of pan–European residents also supports the need for formal laparoscopic training programmes which could include modular simulator training.
