Rosata E et al. Long-term therapy with N-acetylcysteine (NAC) in patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) has a durable effect on ischemic ulcers and Raynaud's phenomenon.
Methods- Prospective study with median f/u of 3 y
- 50 patients with SSc received NAC infusions q2w
- Patients had a reduction in the frequency of digital ulcers, digital ulcer VAS, number of attacks of Raynaud's phenomenon, and Raynaud's phenomenon VAS
- There were no adverse effects
