TREC levels in CD4+ and CD8+ cells were lower in pts with active vs quiescent SLE
Pts with active SLE had lower TREC levels in CD4+ T cells than controls, but not in CD8+ cells
Pts with quiescent SLE presented TREC levels similar to controls in CD4+ and CD8+ cells
