Silberstein JL et al. – Bladder cancer presents a substantial challenge to public health. Dietary factors influence the risk of bladder cancer incidence and recurrence and may offer innovative therapies for prevention. Although definitive clinical trials have yet to be performed, promotion of healthy lifestyle interventions based on dietary factors—increased vegetable and fruit intakes, decreased meat and fat intakes—should be considered in the care of patients with bladder cancer.
