| Our study suggests that HDI treatment of ER-negative breast tumours could be a useful tool to obtain anti-estrogen sensitivity in order to treat also this kind of tumours with tamoxifen. Furthermore, we suggest that before the use of combined HDI/antiestrogen schedules a careful analysis of the integrity of the estrogen-sensitivity pathway should be evaluated in each single patient. |
