Celano, Marianne P - Despite the increasing evidence that family processes contribute to asthma outcomes, few theory-based family interventions have been developed for children with asthma. Systemic consultation models and biobehavioral family interventions, in conjunction with pediatric care, appear to hold the most promise for helping families of children with poorly controlled asthma
