Struwe M et al. - The data indicate that photochemically induced DNA damage by sparfloxacin is efficiently removed in skin, retina and cornea; repair of these DNA lesions follows an exponential decrease; the induction and repair of sparfloxacin-mediated photochemical DNA damage might be tissue specific.
