Terry K - As health insurance premiums continue to rise faster than income, the number of Americans with minimal coverage keeps ballooning as well. At least 3.8 million people have high-deductible "consumer-driven" plans, typically paired with a health spending account (HSA). And 1 million or more have mini plans, otherwise known as limited-benefit policies. Millions more have other variations of bare-bones coverage, and the number is growing.
