Roemmler J et al. – Long–term GH substitution trends to beneficially influence fasting glucose and glucose tolerance, although differences are sparse. Growth hormone substitution alone does not seem to significantly impact on insulin sensitivity, lipid metabolism, and BMD in patients with pituitary insufficiency.
