In vitro Performance of Nano-heterogeneous Dentin Adhesive

Ye Q et al. - The degree of contrast in the TMAFM phase image depended on the formulations used, ranging from ‘not observable’ to ‘very strong’. Correspondingly, the mechanical properties of these model adhesives varied from ‘minimal change’ to ‘significant depreciation’. The results support the hypothesis that a high degree of heterogeneity at the nano-scale is associated with poor mechanical durability in these model adhesives.
